Our management team consists of volunteers, the board of directors, and officers working closely with the executive director. Our executive director and founder, Jonathan Espenschied, is a physician and a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with bi-phenotypic leukemia at the age of 20, underwent treatment and a bone marrow transplant from his younger brother. He understands first hand what it is like to live beyond a cancer diagnosis, and the need for this type of program. Dr. Espenschied’s guidance of the management team, which includes several members living beyond their own cancer diagnosis, allows for the team not only to understand the process of cancer treatment and survival, but the importance of becoming self-reliant after struggling through such an event.

Our interest is on improving and enhancing these patients and survivors way of life, after treatment, the doctor visits, the chemotherapy infusions, the radiation sessions, a life that can and will be lived as a cancer survivor and an autonomous, productive member of society.
