LAZADATOTO Working Against Cancer is an organization guided by a self-empowered, compassionate philosophy. Staff and volunteer mentors support children, adolescent and young adult cancer patients and cancer survivors through mentoring, self-evaluation tools, and career opportunity referrals.
WAC's mission is to help these individuals navigate their way through the emotional upheaval that accompanies a cancer diagnosis in order to become self-reliant individuals with independent, productive lives.
